The Blue Whale is the largest animal not only in the sea but in the world. Steem Whales are the biggest contributors and earners of Steemit. A whale is a Steemian who has 100,000+ of Steem with an account value of $1000,000+.

Steem Whales can delegate Steem Power to Minnows and Newbies.

SteemWhales is a website that tracks and collects information about the Steem Network. SteemWhales provides useful data or features that are not available through a normal node connection. It was created by @heimindanger and launched in June 20th, 2016. It tracks 116,289 acounts as at 1st of July, 2017.

Misc (Miscellaneous) This Category holds 3 tools that allow users to make use of these certain features:

  • Create a Post Tool which allows you to post to Steemit from SteemWhales

SteemWhales Post also allows you to post on the blockchain and set your own beneficiaries (and other posting options) easily.

  • Timestamping tool which allows users to calculate the hash value of any transaction file and write it onto the Steem Blockchain. This feature is free.
