The Steem Ecosystem consists of apps and services directly accessing the Steem blockchain or supporting the community in other ways. See bellow for some of the initiatives:

  A service for Steem blockchain provides task automation, post scheduling, ping notifications, RSS feed, etc. created by @chainsquad and launched in November 2016.

• The Viewfinder Steemzine
  A spontaneously published ezine exclusively on Steemit.com. It will highlight the work of some of the best photographers and writers currently using the platform. Created by @jamtaylor and launched in September 21st, 2016.

• TheShop

  Buy or sell with 0% fees. Created by HyperFundIt (@hyperfundit) and launched in June 5th, 2018.

• UNDER_STEEMED : https://sydneyitguy.github.io/understeemed/
  An Open Source search tool developed for curators to find undervalued posts. Developed by Nomad Lion (@tabris) and announced in October 10th, 2017.

• Upvoters : http://steem.loadsup.net/upvoters/
  An useful visual application to interact with curators who constantly upvote your posts.. Created by @elviento and launched in September 18th, 2017.

  Rewards Open Source Contributors using Steem Blockchain. Created by Diego Pucci (@elear) and launched in September 26th, 2017.

• Vapor
  A mobile Steem/SBD POS (Point-of-Sale) to cater to merchants through both online and brick-and-mortar shops, a revival and modification of the old SteemPay web app. Introduced by @emerge in August 14th, 2017.

• Verodato

  A crypto fund investing in the Steem Ecosystem. Launched in June 5th, 2018.

  Desktop wallet for the Steem blockchain created by @jesta and launched in May 2017.

  A live streaming platform for independent creators. Its upvote system allows viewers with a Steem account to financially support their favorite streamers at the click of a button. Co-owned by Kevin Piersoul (@foreveraverage) and Yan Morand (@chiren). Alpha version launched in July 2nd, 2018.

• Viper : A knowledge social sharing system. Sound, video, and blogging platform using Steem and IPFS. Introduced by legal owner Affolter Matias on @viper.network in February 13th, 2018.

  Highly secure P2P and Steem powered chat app created by Matias Affolter from team @esteem8 and announced in September 6th, 2017.

• WelcometoSteemit.com : http://welcometosteemit.com
  A place for new sign-ups with links to everything they might need so they can get started off on the right foot. Proposed by @trevorlyman in June 12th, 2017.

• Zappl : https://zappl.com

  A descentralized short-form social media microblogging on Steem blockchain. Proposed by CEO James Sims (@thedegensloth) in Abril 28th and beta launched in October 24th, 2017.
