在發文之前為帖子加上恰當的格式能讓帖子更吸引讀者。在Steemit創建內容時，你可使用「編輯器」(Editor)或「標記」(Markdown)模式。以下摘要可從Steemit 'Sumbit a Story' 標記模式使用的常用格式。

這些指南乃係取自 @razvanelul 的小教室，以及GitHub的 [https://github.com/adam-p/markdown-here/wiki/Markdown-Cheatsheet Markdown小筆記]。若果你不使用Markdown模式，你也可用HTML格式的標籤。

＝＝大字(標題)＝＝
要寫大字，輸入 # ，或使用 <h1> 標籤。
字的大小會隨 # 數增加而縮細。
# 和文字須留空格
* 最大為 # 文字，或 <h1> 文字 </h1>
* 最小為 ###### 文字，或 <h6> 文字 </h6>

要寫 '''粗體'''，在文字前後加 ** ，不須留空格。
也可用 <nowiki><b></nowiki> 標籤

要在文中加上連結，用 [ ] 和 ( )。
用 [ ] 包裹文字、用 ( ) 包裹連結。

不使用Markdown的方法如下：

要加入圖片，請貼上圖片網址。

＝＝影片及媒體＝＝

要加入影片最常見做法是加上影片網址。
加上HTML嵌入格式 (<code>iframe</code>) 也可，只支持Youtube, Vimeo及SoundCloud (嵌入格式)。

＝＝圖文置中＝＝
